The question is how much it would cost.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6986803737547990443.post-59497402747650346482011-04-01T10:54:33.335-04:002011-04-01T10:54:33.335-04:00http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l4zj8tyiqo1qa4yg...http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l4zj8tyiqo1qa4ygxo1_500.gifRustynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6986803737547990443.post-79356260145783667672011-03-31T23:14:08.266-04:002011-03-31T23:14:08.266-04:00hahaha what a joke so you still can't name any...hahaha what a joke so you still can't name any specific coach to replace Umile meaning you have no credibility on the subject. The best you can do is suggest D1 assistants and D3 head coaches to replace the most successful coach in school history.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6986803737547990443.post-72901446372223785852011-03-31T18:56:18.440-04:002011-03-31T18:56:18.440-04:00You're right again, he has a terrible coaching...You're right again, he has a terrible coaching philosophy, bringing his team to the elite eight three years in a row, NCAA tourney 10 in a row. Good rebuttal to the recruiting argument too, you went down in flames pretty easily. Wasn't putting Umile on a pedestal, just asking what your magical solution is, like names of d1 coaches you moron. How can he have more Hockey East Coach of the Year awards than Parker and York combined if he has such a garbage philosophy?

In short, please don't blog anymore or try to go after someone else. You know nothing, and you shouldn't consider yourself a fan. Hell of a rant though Rusty, you're incredibly convincing and you know so much about the game. Get a life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6986803737547990443.post-74397314423013368622011-03-31T16:58:56.060-04:002011-03-31T16:58:56.060-04:00I am also wondering what magical type of system yo...I am also wondering what magical type of system you want Umile to install. Since the Whit is the most common ice surface they play on, Umile installs a system to use their speed to an advantage. They can't get big bodies and grind out wins in a small rink like Cornell does. I thought Umile's system worked out pretty well against the hottest team in the country in the first round. In reality, UNH scores first and they beat Notre Dame. Notre Dame gets the lead and plays a trap style in the neutral zone so they can win games 1-0 or 2-1. What other system do you play to solve a team playing not to lose? They catch a few bounces here and there, and they would be in St. Paul. If you want Umile to install a new system, please say what system you want since you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
As for Nyquist and Da Costa, you are right again. Nyquist has 0 NCAA appearances and Da Costa has 1 NCAA appearance with 0 wins. 0 wins combined and both leave early for the pros. They sure did bring in the titles, which is your whole point (so convincing).
Please never make a rant again, you embarrassed yourself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6986803737547990443.post-54164265605184319212011-03-31T15:06:32.139-04:002011-03-31T15:06:32.139-04:00Alright, put Umile on a pedestal. Whatever he's doing isn't working successfully to get a championship, so find someone else. Woo an assistant coach from a D-I program or offer a nice contract to a head coach from a D-III college. Or, you can keep clutching your "400 WINS" shirt and convince yourself that it's just as good.

In short, fuck you.Rustynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6986803737547990443.post-64395805033532812882011-03-31T14:08:23.288-04:002011-03-31T14:08:23.288-04:00Who are you going to hire to replace Umile? Everyone says fire him but they can't give a solid answer on who should follow him because like you they know nothing about hockey.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6986803737547990443.post-75432849246212912282011-03-30T17:39:42.417-04:002011-03-30T17:39:42.417-04:00You couldn't be more wrong on the recruiting a...You couldn't be more wrong on the recruiting aspect of UNH. Should UNH stop recruiting in America after BC won a national title with all but two non-Americans on the roster? The talent level in the US is just fine to put together a national-title caliber team, ask BC or BU. Ever think about how hard it is to compete in recruiting with York and Parker? Umile use to bring in plenty of talent from Canada in the early 2000s but the fact of the matter is that more Canadians are going to the OHL, QMJHL, and the WHL as they believe it is a better route to the pros. So in response to you thinking Umile SHOULD look for players outside of the country, he already tried it and it got him 0 titles, just like now. Why would you think international talent automatically brings in titles when out of the past 5 national championship teams, there were 18 international players combined out of 128 players?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6986803737547990443.post-3999030224187430852011-03-29T22:36:11.111-04:002011-03-29T22:36:11.111-04:00damn that rusty has some fire in him - why doesn&#...damn that rusty has some fire in him - why doesn't UNH just send him into the locker room during the post season intermissions? The Maine Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15206274858663354085noreply@blogger.com
