UNH Hockey player James van Riemsdyk has announced that he will not return next season to play hockey. JVR has decided to sign a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers, the team who drafted him number two overall in the NHL draft two years ago. It is expected that he will play the remainder of the season for the Flyers AHL affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms. Best of luck James, and thanks for the two years at UNH!
