Why certain people shouldn't drink

That was fucking ridiculous, I can't believe how stupid kids can be after a few beers. What pisses me off are the stupid people in the background screaming "way to protect your citizens" at the cops while students are launching beer bottles at them. Seriously, I thought that people at JMU were supposed to be smart? But this is what happens when mob mentality takes over. This started out as JMU's Spring weekend block party or whatever and turned into hundreds of drunk kids rioting for no reason. At least when UNH students riot we have a reason like the Red Sox in '03 and '04 and the hockey team in '02/03. UNH cops learned from their mistakes after the first hockey riot and they did a much better job a few years ago following the Red Sox world series win in 2007. I have always thought it would be cool to see a "riot" (more like a massive gathering and celebration following a championship) but I wouldn't want to be a part of something like this.
