Holidays are Sweet

Who says UNH is the University of No Holidays? I'm pretty sure we have Wednesday off! Which makes Tuesday night like a weekend which makes tonight an honorary Thirsty Thursday. Your welcome for enlightening you and enjoy.
Friday night I learned that D-Hop and Kurt's should never be visited one directly after the other. At first my stomach was really digging that idea, but as the night continued I realized that I had made a terrible mistake. Somehow I avoided the dreaded pizza puke, but at one point I thought I might have a heart attack. Seeing as I have two exams tomorrow I'm keeping this short... to make up for it I will post my column for tomorrow's TNH right after midnight.

Either some intern was just like"Hey likes make a W with our fingers" or Bush is a player.

Lookin' Sharp

I have now realized that Wednesdays are definitely my busiest day of the week, even though I have more classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That may sound weird, but timing and class type has everything to do with it. You may have noticed the new banner image, pretty sharp don't you think? Sadly, I can't take credit for it, well technically I can, but that is not my style. The photoshopping was done and emailed by friend of the blog and UNH senior Cam; and it has given me a great idea.

I highly encourage readers to send in any pictures they take around campus that would be Nonsensical appropriate. I can't guarantee that you picture will be used, but any pictures would be appreciated. So feel free to email me not just pictures, but also stories, or overheard accounts or whatever because I want this blog to be more appealing and not just about me. Once again the blog's email is: unhblog@yahoo.com. If I feel it is blog worthy I'll gladly post it and give the finder credit.

I don't have much time, but before I go I have a new song of the day for you. First off, let me say that I am a big fan of Andy Sandburg and I honestly think that he saved SNL from completely falling off the face of the earth. I know that you have probably all seen the "I'm on a Boat" video a thousand times, but I came across a version recorded by an A Cappella group from UC Santa Cruz and I was completely blown away by their ability to take a popular song and make their own while still sounding like the original. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did:

If any of you are in one of UNH's A Cappella groups, I'm sorry, but that was fucking impressive don't you think?

Symbolic Photographs of the Day

Nothing like the buzz of a powerline in your ear while fishing on a warm summer day. I feel like this picture really defines and symbolizes our culture. I'm thinking of calling this something like
"Industry meets Tranquility."

If I may steal a line from The Simpsons, I call this one "Man Versus Nature: The Road to Victory."

The only thing that beats casting a line out in the warm breeze after a long week of work is if you do that with a cooler full of cold beer.

Not the biggest fish of the day, but this little guy put up a helluva fight. Well, not really, it was just the only fish picture without a fisherman in frame.

Stay classy, not UMassy and have a nice Memorial Day weekend.
