This Day in History at UNH

Today is the 40th anniversary of the 3 week strike at UNH about the Vietnam War, but instead of me talking about it just read this article from TNH.  I really think this shows how students and faculty can team up and make a point on campus. (The actual rally was on May 5th.)

At 6p.m. in Horton 4 there will be a screening of the half-hour documentary "Mayflowers" which uses archived footage found in a dumpster to depict UNH during the strike.

Not only is today the 40th anniversary of the UNH protest, but also the shootings at Kent State in Ohio, where students were protesting the invasion of Cambodia and four students were shot by National Guardsmen.

Stay classy, not UMassy.
