  2. There are so many people to thank. Mostly the people down at Seagrams, because without 7 Crown whiskey I wouldn't be half as ornery as I am today. Then there's my parents, all the lovely women I've had one night stands with, and of course Jesus, the ultimate hater.

On a somewhat related note, seriously, UNH Dining is out of hand. They were going to string me up over my Main Street article from Issue 2. Here's my...erm...public "apology" printed in the New Hampshire (which thankfully allows anyone who searches "Tim King UNH" to see my public shaming).

  3. First off I would like to say, and I quote Kathy Griffin's acceptance speech from her first Emmy award: "Suck it Jesus."

Secondly, I would like to thank my parents, without them I wouldn't have the personality and 'i dont give 2 shits about what people think about me' attitude. and for always putting up with my shenanigans.

Thirdly, I would like to thank KH (you know who you are) for telling me to do this in the first place. She's my inspiration and she was the first person to go forth with my shitting on people.

Fourthly, tittertatters. Goodlord. You are my twin. I love you. Thank you for bring out the best in me.

Fifthly, to all my friends/haters/lovers/readers. You guys are amazing thank you for all the times when you read my text message to read my latest post. Haters, i love you guys, you just make me wanna do better. Lovers, I will keep trying to do my best. Readers, I'm going to win you over.

Best comment: "Because we see lots of white secretaries taking it from the BBC (Big Black Cock) Rough Reputation to uphold my chocolate foot long friends....So, Take all your movies that put women down, display them as weak, unintelligent and powerless and there go my entire collection of Disney Princesses."

Sixthly, I want to thank drunk kid from new york for this epic e-mail: "you took part in a post that consisted of drawing dicks on a map of your campus? really? i think i love you so what is you policy on sleeping with freshmen in 2011?" we hope you get into UNH. i have a no sleeping with freshman policy. sorry.

    xoxo

  4. The award winning Drunk Kid from New YorkMay 12, 2010 at 5:03 PM

YESS! Acceptance thing they do on TV: First id like to thank my parents, without them i wouldnt be here to recieve the award. Next id like to thank the family i have in NH. Without them, i wouldn't know how great NH is and i wouldn't want to go to school there. I must thank booze. Without it, id be the "sober and less happy kid from NY" and thats pretty shitty. Gotta thank God, everyone does. And last but not least the fine people at the UNH blog. No better place for tips and stories i can learn from and make my own college experience better. LadyMeow can really help with that... but i guess im going to have to join the Celtics for that to happen. For those who dont really get that last line, you should be following her on twitter. Special thanks to The New Hampshirite not only for his help with my email but also for his vision that created the blog and made it what it is today, er some shit.

  6. Thanks. That's basically all I can say my words should be as few as the posts I've written.

  7. It is a true honor to receive the ROTY Award, and I have people to thank and they know who they are.

Secondly, what makes this a true honor is that I had some very tough competition from new, but soon to be former colleague Lady Meow and some solid contributions from my Geoff and Kevin, my very interesting roommates. Although, I was clearly more interesting. Or rigged the voting. Both are possible.
